When I started the game, being lvl250 was a big deal and the lvl400 buffs had not been created yet. Back then, after lvl186 the best you could do was to hunt in a setup designed to either have enough DEF to usually avoid an incoming hit or enough ARM to withstand a hit while at the same time having enough damage to kill in 2 hits. Add in a Fatality potion and you were doing great.
When CA and DD were introduced, it took some time for some players to understand that one hitting was again possible (in some way). CA came to be viewed as acceptable in low levels.
Then, when the DBL750 pot became available, a change occurred (for some people) on how they view CA. Also, other persons had done the math for conditional buffs activating for a one hit and concluded that CA was an unnecessary gold sink.
Finally, with the introduction of SH, CA is usually viewed as a loser buff.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
If you have a low max stam (under 2500), I suggest that CA is not as costly as some may have had you think. You should not be afraid to use it in the right circumstances.
If, however, your max stam is over 8000, I strongly recommend you avoid it. Buffs can be bought pretty cheaply these days. |
