It is often suggested by higher level players to lower level players that they increase their max stam to 2000 (or higher) as quickly as possible. If you wonder why, consider this thought:
Suppose you had the opportunity to spend $100.00 for your meals. You can choose to have the money cover one day of meals or ten days of meals.
You'd be foolish to choose one day, right? Well, change the $100.00 to buffing yourself (or buying buffs) and the days to the amount of stamina that the buffs benefits and you have some understanding of why the suggestion is made.
Another way to look at it: right now, I spend about 400 stam to buff myself. I still have buff time left when I am done with the 12,500 stamina I have burned thru. Wouldn't it be great if I could get even more benefit out of the same 400 stam I used to buff myself? |

| Also, a benefit of having high stam is that you begin to enter a viscious circle. This circle goes up, however. The more stam you have, the more profitable your hunt will be. The more profitable your hunt, the more buffs and potions you can afford to buy. The more buffs / potions you are using, the better your hunt will be. |

| A final (?) thought on the issue - you cannot afford to profitably one hit after 186 with less stam (if you have to buy buffs, you simply don't get enough gold from hunting to pay for the buffs you buy). |
